Prom 2009

So, I'm not usually one to brag, but I definitely want to about this past weekend. It very well could have been one of the greatest weekends I can remember.

First of all,
Q: How many people can say they've been to three proms?
A: ME!
Q: How many people can say they've been to three proms with the same amazing guy?
A: ME!

Not many people go more than two proms. And usually, the two proms they go to are with different guys. No, not saying this is the case for everyone, because I do know of a few couples who have been together for a long period of time as well.

Even though this was our third prom together and the music really wasn't great at prom, I have to say it was my favorite and most memorable. Probably because this was the first year on prom night, when all we had was PROM! My Junior Prom was the same night as my dance recital, so we went late. My Senior/Matt's Junior Prom was the same weekend as Key Club Convention, so we went late yet again. This year, all we had was prom, and I think we were both equally relieved. We were at prom longer than we've ever been, AND we left early! And two things made it most special: it was Finally our last high school dance, and we both got our Senior Walk the same year, even if mine was late.

We went to dinner with some of our favorite friends and I think it's safe to say we all laughed harder than we ever had. We ate at Firebirds, and Matt insisted that I get anything on the menu but chicken tenders. Well, I cheated, because I got the fried chicken salad, with chicken tenders on top :) Thankfully, he let it slide... Dinner was followed by some crazy running around, ok, power walking, around Short Pump Mall, trying to find solutions for dress malfunctions, while getting insanely crazy looks from everyone there. That just makes the experience even more memorable!

I had such an amazing time at Prom, and it was followed by an even better time at After Prom. Last year, neither of us even played the casino games. Why? I don't even know. This year, we spent pretty much all of the time at Dad's BlackJack table and had the greatest fun playing! Although, Abby did steal me away a few times, because no one was playing at her Bingo Table! In the end, I had only lost 20 of my 1000 dollars! I was pretty impressed! haha.

And I'll apologize now....I couldn't just choose a few pictures to show!
