Come onnnnn, you know you do it too! You have that mile long list of blogs you like to check every single day? Yeah, that's totally me. And today, I want to share with you those blogs :)
There's something I've done religiously basically the ENTIRE time I've been at Longwood. You see, in my first fall semester, I went home after my first Friday of classes (and a bunch of other times after that..) for Labor Day Weekend & a wedding. The old choir director from my church was getting married and we were all so happy for her and I was excited because this was about the time when I started loving all things about weddings.
I remember watching the photographer move around during the ceremony, and I thinking how much fun she must be having.
During the reception, the photographer borrowed the mic from the DJ and announced that if you wrote down your email address, you would be sent the link to view all of the pictures from that day. I looked over at Mom and asked, "Can I go up there??"
A couple weeks went by and then the email came.
And ever since. I've followed Katelyn James. I've stalked her blog ev-er-y day waiting for a new post to read through.
So here she is! : Katelyn James
Today, I most look forward to her Wedding Wednesday posts, and any post that has pictures of Bokeh-her ADORABLE puppy!!! Every time she posts about him, I show the pictures to Matt, and make a face that says, "oh-my-goodness-isn't-he-the-cutest-thing-you've-ever-seen?!"
From Katelyn's blog, I then was linked over to Jasmine Star. Holy cow, if you don't already, you need to check out her blog!
I think my favorite posts of Jasmine's are the ones about her life--her family, her husband, her dog. And the stories she shares-they all have a purpose and really make you think! She is so inspirational, and ONE DAY, I will OWN her magazine: EXPOSED. I have to.
I was also linked to Rebekah Hoyt via Katelyn James' blog. Katelyn actually photographed Rebekah's wedding, and I remember loving all of the shades of red & orange!
From her blog, you can tell that she is an outgoing individual and a bubbly personality, who loves everything about her life! Plus, her logo kinda has me hooked (yay for branding!).
To be honest, I don't even remember how I started following Jillian Michelle. Just kidding! That's a lie. You'll never guess how I found her..have you noticed the pattern yet? Ha! Yep-through Katelyn again!
Reason #1 why you need to read her blog: She lives on a FARM. And posts pictures. All of that in addition to spectacular wedding photos. Reason #2. See Reason #1.
Now, for real this time, I don't remember how I started following Troy & Aimee.
Troy & Aimee are a husband & wife photog team and I just love all of their wedding pictures they share. The way they capture some things blows. my. mind. And quite frankly, some of the pictures they post of around where they live (near the beach), makes me soooooooooo jealous & want to move to the beach right now!!
And, of course, one blog links to another. How did I start following Promise? Well, Promise is Aimee Grover's sister, so I'm sure somewhere along the line, I saw her link, clicked it, and never stopped going back!
Promise not only shares her latest work & photography through her blog, but also shares wonderful hair how-tos (that look great, but I don't think I could pull them off!), and incredible DIY crafts that I will one day attempt! :)
Finally, last & certainly not least: V.A. Photography.
Okay, I've never told Ashley this and it'll probably sound a bit creeperish, but oh well. I met Ashley through BCM (Baptist Collegiate Ministries) and we shared a lot of the same friends. Every Thursday night, BCM has Connections, where a local church will make us dinner, we have praise & worship, and a speaker. I remember standing in line one of the first Thursday nights of the semester, and I saw Ashley ahead of me. I didn't know her at the time, but I noticed that she had the same Barlowgirl shirt that my sister has and I thought to myself, "Oh my gosh! Someone else who knows Barlowgirl?? I need to meet her!" hahahaha. Well, eventually, I did. And then we were in the same small group Bible study and she made these de-li-cious chocolate/peanut butter brownie balls...Ok, I'm not big on peanut butter and chocolate, but those things were the bomb. Anyway, you must check out her blog, you won't be disappointed :)
Anyway, there are other blogs I follow a lot too, but I didn't want to bombard you with them all at once!

It's not called stalking...I prefer "Intense Research of an Individual".
