I don't know how, but I would swear time is just speeding up and speeding past us so quickly! Much like last week flew by before I could
sit down for five seconds and get a blog post up, Halloween approached
us way too quickly, and guess who was running around on October 31st,
trying to be prepared for the evening that was an hour away? Oh yeah,
that was me. As soon as I left work, I went to Target to dodge the
people who were still buying Halloween candy {we've been stocked up on
candy for weeks!} because we still needed pumpkin carving kits....Yeah,
we started carving our pumpkins at approximately 5:15 on Halloween. And

pumpkins!
Anyway, despite the craziness of getting our pumpkins carved within one hour and our families arriving, Halloween was great! All of our parents and Matt's grandparents came over and we got to see all of the trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood. We even met some of our

Sidenote: Is it just me, or are Halloween costumes just not what they use to be? For instance, one boy showed up wearing a helmet, carrying a skateboard, and some crazy make-up......I'm guessing he was a zombie skateboarded? Maybe it was a creative attempt..........Different, but creative, I guess.
Here are all of our outside decorations, courtesy of Matt's parents, and Matt's handiwork :)
Matt's pumpkin!
Okay, I'm pretty proud of my pumpkin....if only you knew JUST how quickly I drew the design on there...
It was so nice having warm weather on Halloween, and we kept our front door open all evening!
