Christmas Picture Outtakes

This first picture is the picture we used for our Christmas cards this year. Of COURSE Maple was in it!

This post would be a little boring if I only shared that one decent picture.  I thought it would be MORE fun to share some of the outtakes from that night!!  We had over 100 pictures from this Christmas picture attempt to choose from, but here are some of the best ones narrowed down:

Our Wedding: Picture Slideshow

If you haven't already picked up on it, I love that most of our wedding details were so personalized and really "us."  They were really only things that could've been at our wedding, like pictures of us at all the different locations, etc.

Something else that I loved that really made our reception more "us" was a pictures slideshow we had playing throughout dinner.  Inside the Science Museum, they have groups of TV screens together that are hooked up to a computer.  There were two sets of TVs on one side of the room, and one more set on the opposite side of the room. All I had to do was make the slideshow with all the pictures we wanted to use, and they hooked it right up!

You might remember that Instagram is one of my favorite apps I have on my phone....and that I even had it before I had my iPhone (and before it was on the Droid, too).  Yep, my first 12 Instagrams pictures were taken on Matt's phone....THANKS MATT :)

Speaking of Matt, some of the music he listens to is Destorm, who has a song actually called "Instagram," so, there's doubt that 95% of the time when I post a picture to Instagram, I start singing a part of this song in my head! (Also, the title of this post is lyrics from the song.)

Today, I thought I would share with you some of my favorite Instagram pictures from the past couple of months. So, yes, if you follow me on Instagram, this is probably just a big repeat for you!

This picture on the right was one of the first Instagrams I took...it's down at the river just right after the walls were painted!

A look at my week..

To say that I had a really busy week may not be completely accurate, but it sure feels like it! Monday & Tuesday were pretty uneventful inside the house while hurricane rains and winds were going through Virginia and hitting pretty hard in the New York/New Jersey area.  Mom and I did end up going out both of those days (Monday to the post office, Chick fil A and Lowe's and Tuesday to the grocery store, Papa's for dinner and then volleyball practice), but I still got Cabin Fever!  Monday, we did get a few wedding things done.  Nothing too major, just little tasks that we got out of the way and are saved for later ;)
