Well, I definitely missed a few days of blogging...
I got last Wednesday's post up, right? My 10 random iTunes songs.
Friday, that blog post never got up. How come? What did I do on Friday..? I subbed, came home and relaxed just a little, and oh, right, spent over 2 hours in Cracker Barrel that night! Abby made a quick trip home last weekend and she, Mom, Auntie Sherrie and I went out to dinner. Then, who else happens to come in and get seated at the table next to us? Yep, Matt and his parents! After eating, I got "kicked away" from our table so that Abby, Mom, Auntie Sherrie and Matt's mom could talk about my bridal shower, which is this coming up weekend. I walked around the Old Country Store twice, smelled every Yankee Candle on the shelves, read the

iTunes Shuffle
A few posts back, I shared some of my current favorite songs. Naturally, after I wrote it, I was remembering all these songs I thought about including but forgot! haha. Oh well!
Today, I still wanted to share some music, but in a different way. I opened up iTunes and the first 10 songs that played on random...I'm sharing them with you! {Now, yes, I did have to skip over some because I didn't want to make this whole post a "Christmas music post." That was the 2010 edition of the 25 Days of Christmas! haha}
This is a huge random assortment of the types of music I listen to.
Hope you enjoy!

21 Ways...
Most of the time when I find something online that I want to blog about, I get easily distracted that I forget where I find things. {But let's face it, it was probably on Pinterest.} Anyway, I had come across this list at one time of Twenty Things You Should Do in Your Twenties. Well, naturally, I can't find that original site & list. haha. So, I just hopped on over to Google and did a similar search until I found a list that I really liked. What I found was, "21 Ways You Should Take Advantage of Your Twenties." Since I'm already a few years into my 20s, Matt's right behind me and most of my friends & sister are in the same age bracket, I thought it would be fun to share this list with everyone. Now, maybe not all of them will apply to you, but just read through it anyway :)

Friends Friday - Week One!
I've been thinking of another blog post theme to look forward to each month. While searching through Pinterest for some ideas, I got really frustrated.
Finally, I thought, what better to do than combine one of my favorite TV shows and my blog!
So, once a month, you will see "Friends Friday!" One Friday a month, I'm going to share one of my favvvvorite scenes or moments from one of the greatest TV shows ever, Friends!

Spending time with the one I love!
I know, I know, I missed putting up a blog post yesterday. But you know what I have to say to that? "Oh well."
Matt and I kind of made a last minute decision on what to do yesterday. That decision put us an hour and a half down the road in Farmville for the Men's Basketball Game against High Point. Yesterday was our last opportunity to see a Men's game this year {we also went to the Longwood/VCU game} so we decided on a quick trip! Until we got there, Abby was the only person who knew we were going down, because I wanted to make sure she didn't have plans for dinner! In a small break in her schedule, she was able to go to Cook-Out with Matt and me for dinner. {Which reminds me, I left my food in Matt's truck last night....hope he found it when he got home and took it in or threw it away!}

Feeling the beach right now?? Me too!
I was initially going to start this post by saying, "my favorite time of year to walk around Longwood is...." but I realize that wouldn't really be a true statement. ANY time of year is my favorite time to walk around Longwood. In the fall, the trees along Brock Commons are gorgeous, and I'm pretty sure every fall for the past 5 years, I've walked around campus taking pictures of the reds, oranges and yellows in the trees. Yes, five years straight of going around and taking pictures of the SAME trees! haha. During the cold winter months, I loved walking to an 8:00am class (well, I didn't love the fact that I had an 8:00am!) and seeing a campus organization set up under that blue and white tent giving away hot chocolate and coffee! It was the perfect thing you needed when your hands were so frozen!
Then there's spring. Springtime along Brock Commons reminds me of the beginning of fall semester too, in late August/early September. There are ALWAYS people hanging out on Brock Commons, all the way up and down campus. All of the fountains are cut back on and it really just makes everyone happy!! But, the most fun part is the music. Yep, WMLU set up out front of the Student Union, across from D-Hall, playing music that you can really hear from any part of campus. I don't know why I love it so much, but it made walking to and from class that much more enjoyable. I specifically remember a few times in Spring 2012 when I would be done with classes, I had just finished at the gym, and I was headed back to The Hams. I would still have my headphones in listening to my ipod, but as I got closer and closer to The Hams, I'd realize I couldn't even hear what my ipod was playing, because all I could hear was the music out front of the Student Union {which, if you don't know, is right next to The Hams}.
One time last Spring, there was a different type of music along Brock Commons, and on a different part of campus....luckily, it was right outside of Willett {where most of my classes were}. A group of students were playing music that made

4 months til "I do"
I said Pin it Friday couldn't be done today because I had something better special to blog about. {and, okay, yes today's post is better than Wednesday's anyway!!} Today marks exactly FOUR MONTHS until wedding day! Say whaaa? I'm not sure how it approached so quickly....we've been counting down for about 16 months now and now we're this close?!
Four years ago, Matt graduated high school, ran in the Nike Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, NC, I performed in my last dance recital, and we both attended two different colleges. We've gone to so many events for each other in the past almost 6 years and it's insane that the next big event we'll both attend is our own wedding!
I did a fun fact post when we were 5 months away from being married, so of course today's post had to be something related to Four! All of these pictures were taken four years ago...in 2009...It was fun looking back and finding the pictures, but also crazy to realize how much time has gone by!!! {the pictures aren't in chronological order....I didn't want to spend so much time making sure they're in the correct spots!

Pin it Friday!
You're probably thinking I'm absolutely nuts right now. Obviously, it's not Friday. It's not even the day before Friday, but I'm still doing Pin it Friday, REGARDLESS! haha.
You see, I wanted this month's Pin it Friday to be different pictures of ideas for Valentine's Day, but, there's only one more Friday before then! I couldn't do it last Friday, because that was Abby's birthday, and this Friday there will also be something special to post! Therefore, I'm posting it today, and I guess we should probably just call it, Pin it Wednesday. Nah, that doesn't flow as well, so we'll just stick it's regular name!
Anyway, these were all found on Pinterest, duh, but I hope you enjoy them!!

Step 1: Cutting back
What did everyone think of the Super Bowl last night?! Were you happy or sad with the way it ended? (I'll throw this in there...I was happy :) That was SUCH an intense game and it was fun to watch!! From the Sandy Hook students singing, the half-time show, the power outage and the 49ers coming back, it was great!!! Oh, and the commercials! I loved seeing the Coca Cola commercial at the end to see who everyone voted to win---I love how it was interactive! Way cool! :)
It's nice to have fun, relaxing evenings like Super Bowl night to take our minds off of all the things going on in our lives. I don't know about you, but it seems like ever since 2013 started, life got about a million times more hectic! I'm sure that's highly due to the fact that there's a wedding coming up in just over 4 months, among a TON of other things I'm trying to keep up with. Life's so crazy that I'm perfectly fine these days with just staying in and watching TV. Plus, by 5 or 6 pm each night, I'm exhausted anyway and don't feel like doing anything! (Of course, on Tuesdays or Thursdays, I'm pumped about playing in volleyball games or watching them, that I'm too excited to be exhausted! ha!)

Happy Birthday Abby!!!
I know, I know, I didn't blog yesterday. Trust me, it's killing me knowing that I missed a day! {but more on that in a post next week.}
TODAY. I HAD to make sure I got this post up, because posting it on any other day would be way irrelevant. Today is Abby's 20th birthday!!! Yay!! Happy Birthday Abby!!
Last night, I sent her the following text message:
"So I'm going to try to stay up til 12 to text you, but if I don't, I will in the morning. Sorry, that's what being in your 20s will do to you. Enjoy tonight. Haha."
Needless to say, she got a good laugh out of it! And right at midnight, I texted her, "HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY!!!!" she responded with, "YAAAAYYYYY!!" and I said, "okay, now good night!" haha. I made it til 12 and then I was out!
I may or may not hear the end of this when she gets home tonight, but, I thought it would only be appropriate to share some pictures of Abby when she was younger! {don't worry, Abby, the picture of you as Thing 1 will not be shared. I don't wanna get fussed at! haha} So, hope you enjoy these pictures, and if you haven't already, make sure to wish my sister a very happy birthday!!!
