I know these pictures have been a LONG TIME COMING for so many people. It was funny when a dear family friend, Melody, commented on my blog on Tuesday saying she'd love to see pictures of my house, when I just knew they'd be coming a couple days later {so, Melody, I hope you like!}.
We officially signed the papers and became homeowners back in May, less than 2 weeks away from the wedding! Needless to say, if life wasn't hectic enough, we added more to the mix with trying to pack and move, as well. {We're STILL slooowly moving things here from our old homes.}
We have been in our house for over three months now, but with the few weeks of no blogging around the wedding, being in Jamaica, and then sharing so many pictures from the wedding and honeymoon, I just haven't gotten around to posting them. But wait no longer!
Here is a tour of our very first home! I took all these pictures the day we bought it, to really show how different everything is after moving furniture in and decorating.
When you walk in the front door, you can either go up....
....or you can stay downstairs.
Downstairs, we have a den, which leads over to our kitchen/dining area.
You can also see our deck out back, as well as the side of our garage.
Here's our kitchen:
If you scroll back up and look at the picture of the den leading into the kitchen/dining area, you can see on the left that there's a hallway.
Let's go down that hallway...
That first door you see on the left is a very nice sized closet!
The second door on the left is our bedroom:
Let's talk about how awesome our closet it..
If you remember seeing it in the previous hallway picture, the door at the very end leads to the bathroom.
In this picture, you can see a second door that goes to the bathroom.
To the left of this picture, there are two doors, where our washer & dryer are.
It's SO convenient having them so close to our room.
Now, let's head upstairs!
{Sidenote..we have since replaced the TV and stand...you'll see in pictures of a later post!}
Straight ahead of the top of the stairs is another full bathroom:
Also upstairs is another good sized closet, and two more rooms!
Here's the room that is becoming Matt's Man Cave..
And the room that we're getting ready to start making into my craft area/work area {aka, a place for blogging, hahah}/anything else I can think of!
So that's our house!
I will be posting more about how our house is coming along, at least once a week, hopefully, so be sure to check back!! :)
