Tonight, my grandparents let me come over and decorate their Christmas tree for them. Despite my mom, dad, sister, aunt and boyfriend all teasing me about the ornaments being too close and what not, it was fun! I love decorating for Christmas.....if you didn't know. And we had tons of cookies to eat, too. But putting the angel on top was the most difficult part; it was just kind of awkward to get it to stay up on top of the tree!
Well, this all brings me to my 3rd favorite Christmas song. And that would be.....Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree! There's this one version in particular, I don't know who sings it, but it plays at the end of Cheaper by the Dozen when they're sitting around the table for Christmas dinner.
And I just think the words to the song pretty much some up some great Christmas spirit, so enjoy!
"Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree"
Rocking around the Christmas tree
at the Christmas party hop
Mistletoe hung where you can see
every couple tries to stop
Rocking around the Christmas tree,
let the Christmas spirit ring
Later we'll have some pumpkin pie
and we'll do some caroling.
You will get a sentimental
feeling when you hear
Voices singing let's be jolly,
deck the halls with boughs of holly
Rocking around the Christmas tree,
have a happy holiday
Everyone dancing merrily
in the new old-fashioned way.

Merry Christmas!
