25 Days of Christmas: Day 5

Tonight, we headed out with the rest of Richmond to the James Center for the Grand Illumination downtown.  The weather was perfect! The rain held off and it wasn't too cold at all!  And, even though there were hundreds or thousands of people there, it didn't seem to terribly crowded--we even ran into Brandy!!-- and we got a decent spot, after getting there just about 10 minutes prior to the lighting!

Maybe it was just me, but it seemed like there were more lights this year! Everything was great!  It was neat because Matt chose a spot to stand in front of a tree, so we wouldn't have to worry about standing in front of people, but it turned out to be the best spot, because the tree would end up lighting up, too, so lights would be all around us!!
